December 1, 2012 In December 2011, Administration on Children, Youth and Families, Childrens Bureau issued a report to Congress on The Fostering Connections to Success and Increasing Adoptions Act of 2008, Public Law (P.L.) 110-351. This report describes States' data on the number of children in foster care placed in relative foster family homes, a description and assessment of the types of non-safety licensing standards waived; and States' strategies for increasing licensing among relative caregivers.
