The lawsuit was filed by dishonorably discharged Vietnam veterans who believe that their discharge circumstances were directly related to undiagnosed and untreated post-traumatic stress disorder due to deployment. The plaintiffs seek reversal of their discharge status and seek to qualify for military disability benefits. The lawsuit also seeks class action status.
