The Alameda County, California, Probation Department sought a contractor to provide electronic monitoring and surveillance services. The contractor will provide global positioning satellite, radio frequency, continuous alcohol monitoring, and other probationer tracking equipment and services to monitor the probationer's compliance with legal mandates, court orders, and treatment plans that are designed to facilitate positive behavioral change and reduce the risk of recidivism. Proposals were due January 9, 2013.
