On December 8, 2017, The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) gave this presentation on increasing the equity of Medicare's payments within each post-acute care setting, as well as assessing payment adequacy and updating payments for skilled nursing facilities. MedPAC argues for a fully implemented PAC prospective payment system that would redistribute payments across conditions.
