September 1, 2006 Texas Senate Bill 6: 180-Day Progress Report Senate Bill (SB) 6, passed by the 79th Texas Legislature and signed by Governor Rick Perry in 2005, laid the groundwork for comprehensive reform of child and adult protective services in Texas.
