Nebraska Foster Care Reimbursement Rate Committee Final Report & Recommendations To The Legislature

The committee met once a month from June through November 2012. Two sub-committees were established to address the committee’s legislative requirements: The Level of Care Assessment Sub-Committee and the Foster Care Rate Sub-Committee. The committee’s recommendations issued in December 2012  advised the legislature to increase foster care reimbursement rates and authorize testing the use of standardized level-of-care assessment tools to assess children's level of need and the caregiver burden to meet the need.
