Virginia Behavioral Health Services Administrator Request for Proposal

December 16, 2011 On December 16, 2011, the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) released a request for proposals (RFP) seeking a behavioral health administrative services organization (ASO) to manage behavioral health services under a three-year contract. The contract has two one-year optional renewal. However, DMAS may rebid the contract for a full-risk managed behavioral health organization after the first three years.
