Florida Request For Renewal Of The Application For A §1915(c) Home & Community-Based Services Waiver

On December 18, 2023, the State of Florida posted this request for renewal of the application for a Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) waiver under the authority of §1915(c) of the Social Security Act. Changes in the renewal include:

Title changed from "Developmental Disabilities Individual Budgeting Waiver" to "Unique Abilities Individual Budgeting Waiver" (remains informally "iBudget")

Definition of Intellectual Disability revised from IQ 60-69 inclusive to IQ 60-70 inclusive, for those with a secondary impairment/limitation

Participants served/unduplicated number of participants expanded

Electronic signatures authorized for Level of Care evaluation documents
