California Children & Youth Behavioral Health Initiative: Draft Statewide, Multi-Payer, School-Linked Fee Schedule Scope of Services, Codes & Reimbursement Rates

The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is implementing a statewide effort to expand Medicaid reimbursement for school-based student health services, including outpatient behavioral health care. On December 22, 2023, DHCS released this document with draft rates for the multi-payer Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) fee schedule for school-based or school-linked health services, and submitted a Medicaid state plan amendment.
