Florida ITN 017 Seeking Statewide Medicaid Managed Care (SMMC) Managed Medical Assistance (MMA)Part D, Scope

The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) sought proposals for regional Medicaid managed care contracts in each of the state's 11 regions. Proposals were due on March 15, 2013. The state anticipates that the program will be available statewide by October 1, 2014. On September 23, 2013, AHCA awarded 39 contracts to 10 general, non-specialty plans and awarded 63 contracts to five specialty plans. This part of the soliciation describes the scope of the managed care plan duties.
