APA v. EmblemHealth

The complaint was filed on December 30, 2025, in the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of New York by the American Psychiatric Association and the New York State Psychiatric Association against EmblemHealth, a large insurer in New York. The plaintiffs seek allege that EmblemHealth maintained an inaccurate directory of in-network professionals which harmed mental health professionals who were listed although they were not in-network or not working at the locations listed by damaging their reputations and creating administrative burden.
