Minnesota Family Investment Program Children’s Mental Health Pilot
December 10, 2007 The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), through its Transition to Economic Stability Division, is seeking proposals to develop children's mental health pilot projects for the Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP). The projects should inform parents about social-emotional development and mental health screenings for children, coordinate referrals and services, and modify MFIP employment plans as appropriate. DHS will conduct an evaluation to help determine the impact of a child's mental health needs, including social-emotional needs, on the parents ability to work and participate in employment services.
