December 31, 2008 The State of Mississippi seeks to offer Medicaid physicians a web-based electronic health (EHR) record and health information exchange at no charge. The goal is to better serve the state's 600,000 Medicaid beneficiaries. Proposals were due by March 12, 2009. The EHR system is expected to start operation by the end of 2009.
