Depression & Obesity In The U.S. Adult Household Population, 2005–2010
On October 8, 2014, the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) released a report on the relationship between depression and obesity in adults in the United States over a 5-year period (2005 – 2010). The report includes information on the statistical findings achieved by NCHS researchers on the correlation of obesity and depression. Adults with depression were most likely to be obese than adults who did not experience depression.
