SAMHSA Disaster Planning Handbook For Behavioral Health Treatment Programs
On November 8, 2013 the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) published a handbook on disaster planning for behavioral health treatment programs. The handbook presents comprehensive procedures for behavioral health programs and professionals on how to prepare for disasters so loss of service to consumers is limited as much as possible. The handbook is presented in seven chapters with an appendix (A – H) section and an exhibits section.
