Example PBHCI Enrollment Workflow Diagram

On April 7, 2014, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's (SAMHSA's) Primary and Behavioral Health Care Integration (PBHCI) program published an enrollment workflow diagram for patients  already receiving behavioral health services at the provider agency and is eligible for the PBHCI program.  The objective is to ensure the appropriate level of engagement of the behavioral health professional with the patient's primary care plan and to ensure that the patient sees the primary care provider as soon as possible.
