A Nebraska judge ruled that Nebraska must pay for autism services - and any other treatments deemed medically necessary - for the state's Medicaid-eligible children on June 30, 2015. The suit challenged a Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) policy that excludes Medicaid coverage of certain treatments for children with developmental disabilities.
