Medicaid Managed Care for People with Disabilities: Policy and Implementation Consideration for State and Federal Policymakers
In March 2013, the National Council on Disability (NCD), an independent federal agency committed to disability policy leadership, published a report based on findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services (NASDDD) written under contract with NCD. The report identifies 22 principles for successfully enrolling people with disabilities into managed care plans.
