Methods: Calculating Readmissions For HCUPnet

In November 2012, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) published the methodology used to calculate readmissions for the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP) and published on HCUPnet. HCUP is a family of health care databases and related software tools and products developed through a federal-state-industry partnership and sponsored by AHRQ.
