In May 2015, the Arkansas Department of Human Services released a request for information (RFI) to solicit responses about contracting with one or more managed care organizations (MCOs) to serve Medicaid special needs populations. Special needs populations include individuals receiving behavioral health services, individuals who are aged, blind, or disabled and receiving long-term services and supports (LTSS), and individuals with developmental disabilities (DD).
