Petit and Peter Brown presented on the subject of reducing readmissions by using long-acting injectable psychotropic medications and how these medications are gaining acceptance of consumers and peer counselors. One of the goals mentioned was to reduce readmissions to 30 days of people admitted to hospitals for behavioral health issues.
