In December 2011, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) created a guide for behavioral health providers in working with Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers (FQHCs) and Community Health Centers (CHCs) on implementing SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment).
