Summary of Child Welfare Waiver Demonstrations

A total of 29 States, the District of Columbia, and one Tribe are currently implementing 33 child welfare waiver demonstrations: Ten new demonstrations were approved for implementation in fiscal year (FY) 2014; eight new demonstrations were approved for implementation in FY 2013; nine new demonstrations received approval to implement in FY 2012; and six demonstrations are operating under five-year extensions . . .
