TennCare II Amendment 27: Employment & Community First CHOICES

Submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on July 7, 2015, Amendment 27: Employment and Community First CHOICES authorizes Tennessee to provide managed long-term services and supports (LTSS) to the intellectual and developmental disability populations (I/DD). Currently, LTSS services for the I/DD population are carved-out of managed care and provided through the fee-for-service delivery system. The waiver will not change how individuals who are currently enrolled in an I/DD waiver receive services. The waiver will only provide managed LTSS to individuals with I/DD who are newly enrolled in the program . . .
