Texas State Board Of Examiners Of Psychologists Proposed Statutory Revision Redefining “The Practice Of Psychology”

On June 7, 2016, the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists released this draft revision that defines a "psychologist" and "the practice of psychology." The revision identifies what a psychologist does, and activities that are and are not considered to be "practicing psychology." If the revisions are adopted, the board will present the new definitions to the Texas Sunset Advisory Commission for consideration during the Board’s review cycle . . .
