VA Mental Health Services: Public Report

In May 2014, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA) issued a public report on veterans treated for mental illness between the years 2005 and 2013. The report includes information about: (1) VA’s capacity to provide high-quality mental health care, as indicated by such resources as funding, staffing, and space, and (2) Veterans’ experiences in receiving that care, including timeliness, effectiveness, and patient satisfaction.
