Veterans Health Administration: Audit Of Community-Based Outpatient Clinic Management Oversight

In July 2010, the federal Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Inspector General published a report evaluating the effectiveness of the Veterans Health Administration's (VHA’s) management oversight of community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs). The audit  evaluated VHA CBOC monitoring and evaluation policies and processes, examined CBOC management controls related to the Primary Care Management Module (PCMM), and assessed the completion of required traumatic brain injury (TBI) and military sexual trauma (MST) screenings.
