Founded in 1968, the Wheeler Clinic (Wheeler) is a non-profit, community-based organization that provides comprehensive integrated care including behavioral health, education, and recovery. They are accredited by The Joint Commission. Wheeler's programs and services are licensed or approved by the Connecticut Department of Children and Families, Connecticut State Department of Education, and the Connecticut Department of Public Health. Their mission is to provide “equitable access to innovative care that improves health, recovery, and growth at all stages of life.” Their vision is “All people will have the opportunity to grow, change, and live healthier, productive lives . . .
