Backpack Healthcare launched a new mental health self-care app called Hello Backpack intended for youth and young adults. The app features a bibliotherapy approach with tools for mood tracking, journaling, and personalized care plans.

Hello Backpack uses interactive, developmentally appropriate workbooks featuring animated characters, stories, and games. These workbooks are designed to help children identify, understand and cope with their emotional and psychological challenges. The company’s therapists created the workbooks in collaboration with Emmy Award-winning writers.
