The Kalamazoo County, Michigan Sheriff’s Office launched an autism awareness initiative. The goal is to improve interactions between deputies and people on the autism spectrum.;

Officials are providing decals as a discreet way to let deputies know that someone with autism is in a car or a home. The intent is to help first responders think of appropriate ways to approach a situation when a sticker is present.;
