Arkansas Proposes $17 Million Expansion Of Supportive Living Services
On September 15, 2026, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) announced a proposed $17 million expansion of supportive living services for eligible people on the Community and Employment Support (CES) Waiver waitlist. The change would give people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) waiting for full waiver enrollment access to in-home support that is currently unavailable to them.
