On November 1, 2021, the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) implemented an alternative transportation service called Ride CARE for children and adults in behavioral health crisis who need transportation to inpatient psychiatric treatment. The transportation services will be provided by four contracted vendor organizations.

The ODMHSAS created four Ride CARE service areas for the new service and selected four vendors for the service - CREOKS Health Services, DR Security, Grand Lake Mental Health, and Harmon Security.
