In July of 2020, health insurer Humana announced two new agreements for kidney disease care coordination that nearly double the number of states where such services are offered, from five states to 11. On July 20, Humana announced an agreement with REACH Kidney Care to serve eligible Humana Medicare Advantage and commercial members in Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. On July 28, Humana announced an agreement with Strive Health to serve eligible Humana Medicare Advantage and commercial members in Indiana and Kentucky. Financial terms about the arrangements have not been disclosed.
