Nebraska Medicaid plans to carve long-term services and supports (LTSS) into the state’s Heritage Health Medicaid managed care organization (MCO) plans beginning on January 1, 2020. The LTSS services would be added first for older individuals and individuals with physical disabilities. On January 1, 2021, the state will add LTSS for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). The LTSS services will be added into the existing Heritage Health MCO contracts.
