In an August 2022 blog post, Amazon posted that it had selected Ginger to provide behavioral health services for Amazon Care members with moderate-to-acute behavioral health concerns. For these members, the Amazon Care coordinators are providing a referral through Ginger to in-network behavioral health professionals, including behavioral health coaches, licensed therapists, and psychiatrists. The Amazon Care primary care physicians treat members mild-to-moderate anxiety, depression, sleep issues, or stress tobacco addiction. Financial terms of the relationship were not disclosed.
