The Washington Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) expanded its sole-source contract with TCARE, Inc. for the Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP). The contract was awarded on September 30, 2018, and began immediately. The multi-year contract, which will run to September 2024, is valued at $900,000. TCARE was the incumbent to this contract.

The DSHS FCSP began offering access to TCARE in 2009. In 2007, the legislature revised statutes to mandate development of an evidence-based, tailored caregiver assessment and referral tool. There was also legislative intent to have greater consistency in both policy and services . . .
