Newbear Lesniewski brings more than 20 years experience in the marketing and editing field to the OPEN MINDS team. He currently serves is the Managing Editor on our Market Intelligence team where he provides strategic oversight and leadership to strategy and senior editors.
Mr. Lesniewski was most recently the Executive Director of Brand Creative & Communications at St. Clair Health in Pittsburg, PA. There, he modernized the mission, vision and values to serve as a narrative bedrock for their system-wide strategic planning roadmap and initiatives. Before his promotion to Executive Director, Mr. Lesniewski managed agency partners and lead the creation of cohesive brand content for internal and external communications.
Prior to that, Mr. Lesniewski was the Copy Director at Grey Group in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, he developed creative and engaging advertisements for corporations such as Procter & Gamble, McCormick, UPMC, and Amazon.
Before that, Mr. Lesniewski was the Senior Manager of Copy & Creative Strategy for GNC in Pittsburg, PA. Here, he set the creative strategy, revamped the copywriting team and implemented cross-functional communication and collaboration.
Mr. Lesniewski holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Kentucky, a Master’s degree in Sports Business from Duquesne University, and a Master’s of Fine Arts in Fiction Writing from the University of Nebraska. He lives in Pittsburg with his wife and their five children.
