Alan Bragwell, MS, LPC, LSC, has provided management consultation to primary care and behavioral health provider organizations for over 20 years. He has unique expertise in integrated program models and rural health program development.

Prior to his work with OPEN MINDS, Mr. Bragwell worked as a PRN Therapist and Counselor for Bradford Health Services in Alabama.  Here, he launched and staffed a rural intensive outpatient program for adults and adolescents and extended the collaborative model in rural settings to include providing coordinated mental health services at extended care facilities. He also assisted in the establishment of a rural Drug Court and continues to collaborate with the Alabama Community Corrections System on correction-related issues.

Mr. Bragwell has also worked as a children’s therapist at the Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center. In that role, he delivered services in addictions treatment including traditional, faith-based, and medication-assisted treatments. These programs included assessments, treatment planning, referral, program structure, and the implementation of outpatient and residential settings.

Previously, Mr. Bragwell held the position of Program Manager at Riverbend Center for Mental Health where he supervised staff programs, established a staff and adult adolescent intensive outpatient program, and implemented and sustained productivity improvement.

Mr. Bragwell earned his M.A. in Community Counseling at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
