Erin Deppen brings a background in event planning and market research to the OPEN MINDS team. She currently serves as the Education Events Manager and is responsible for providing logistical and partnership coordination to the executive events team as well as assisting with the administrative activities.

In her role, she is responsible for the institute’s relationship with education event sponsors and coordinates sponsor participation, including on-site and virtual execution of each event, updating the institute website thorough out the year, customer service, education services operation management, and preparation of event services program materials.

Previously, Ms. Deppen was a store clerk for a bookstore, For The Historian in Gettysburg, PA. In addition, she worked at the Bullet Hole Dining Services on Gettysburg College campus. She completed the Garthwait Leadership Certificate.

Ms. Deppen received her bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College, majoring in Organization and Management Studies while minoring in History.
