Laurie Mayer brings extensive experience in health care marketing to OPEN MINDS. Her healthcare marketing expertise includes marketing strategy and execution, strategic planning, public relations and communications, media and web strategy, digital marketing, and more.
Prior to joining OPEN MINDS, Ms. Mayer held multiple roles at Caron Treatment Centers, rising from Coordinator of Communications & Online Management to Vice President of Marketing. In her most recent role at the drug and alcohol addiction treatment provider, she led marketing, communications, and public relations for the organization, driving brand growth, patient acquisition, and revenue. Ms. Mayer supported the expansion of the organization from one to six locations and led the marketing strategy for the successful launch of the organization’s new Medical Center. She also led a $5M multi-year brand awareness campaign that resulted in a measurable increase in brand recognition and market share for Caron Treatment Centers. In addition, she developed an in-house marketing attribution dashboard, enabling real-time performance tracking and data-driven decision-making across multiple digital channels.
Before her promotion to Vice President, Ms. Mayer was the Corporate Director of Marketing at Caron Treatment Centers. In this position she designed corporate marketing plans and oversaw digital marketing, lead generation, and web development. She was responsible for public relations and corporate communications, overseeing cross-functional teams and multimillion dollar budgets.
Previous to this role, she was the Director of Advertising & Digital Marketing at Caron Treatment Centers, in this position Ms. Mayer designed corporate marketing plans aligned with brand objectives, overseeing digital marketing, lead generation, and web development. Ms. Mayer managed Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and analytics to optimize campaign performance.
Ms. Mayer received her BA in Communications and Public Relations from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
