Lisa Suttle brings more than three decades of experience in the health care field to the OPEN MINDS team. Her areas of expertise include strategy, service line development, revenue optimization, compliance, and accreditation.

Ms. Suttle is currently the Vice President of Clinical Services at Meridian Health Services. In this role, she oversees operations of behavioral health services, including nursing, infection control, children services, addiction services, and group home services. She serves on Meridian’s executive committees including the Medical Executive Committee, the Executive Operation’s Committee, and the Credentialing Committee.

Previously, Ms. Suttle served as the Chief Nursing Officer at Universal Health Systems – Valle Vista Health System. Here, Ms. Suttle oversaw nursing, infection control, contract services (medical services, lab, and pharmacy) and clinical services for 132-bed for-profit psychiatric hospital. In her time in this role, Ms. Suttle created a structured treatment team process, organized materials/supplies for medical services, and formed referral relationships with local hospitals, law enforcement, community mental health provider organizations, and emergency service programs.

Ms. Suttle served as the Director of Psychiatric Services/Strategic Initiatives at Reid Health, Richmond, Indiana/Horizon Health. In this role, she supervised the inpatient operations director, social services supervisor, activity therapy supervisor, and outpatient services with a staff of 100. While at Reid Health, she developed and implemented a new triage process with guidelines that includes decision making criteria for admission and continued stay criteria.

Ms. Suttle received her Masters of Science Degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. She received her Associate Nursing Degree from Indiana University.
