Lydia Kerr is an accomplished marketing professional, brand strategist and creative director. She brings 10 years of hands-on executive marketing experience to the OPEN MINDS team as a Senior Associate.
Before joining OPEN MINDS, Ms. Kerr was the Brand Strategy Lead at Objective Brand, a brand strategy and design studio in Denver, Colorado. Ms. Kerr led the brand department and served as the primary client partner. She guided workshops, research, and directed cross functional teams on messaging, brand identity, and nationwide marketing campaigns.
Prior to her work at Objective Brand, Ms. Kerr was the Head of Brand at Photobooth Supply Company, headquartered in Irvine, California. In this role, she directed a full brand overhaul, including identity, packaging, and Shopify relaunch. She also led the design and development of a 100+ page Brand Standards documents. Her marketing and branding work drove a 118% increase in e-commerce conversions. In addition, Ms. Kerr was responsible for managing the design team and managed the on-going alignment of marketing, brand, and sales strategy.
In addition, Ms. Kerr has served as the Creative Director at Miller House, an interior design company. In that fractional role, she spearheaded a full rebrand initiative that spanned organizational identity and website redesign. To do this, she worked with the executive team to align brand and customer experience as part of long-term strategy and positioning. The resulting rebrand campaign drove a 57% revenue growth and recognition of Miller house as one of the “Top 200 Salons” and “Salon of the Year”.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Kerr was the Founder and Marketing Director of Telltale, a branding studio in Denver, Colorado. In this role, she was responsible for client relationships and expanding accounts, budgeting, contracting, and revenue forecasting. Her work with clients was focused on branding activities that would increase profitability.
Ms. Kerr has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications, Public Relations from Samford University.
