Biography

Lydia Kerr is an accomplished brand strategist and creative director. She brings over 10 years of experience to the OPEN MINDS team as Executive Vice President.​

Prior to her role as Executive Vice President, Ms. Kerr served as Senior Associate at OPEN MINDS, and Interim VP of Marketing at Trillium Health Resources. At Trillium, she led a comprehensive brand refresh, managed media buying relationships, supported operational recommendations, and directed social media strategy— resulting in a 55% increase in content interactions and a 46% increase in follows​.​

Before joining OPEN MINDS, Ms. Kerr was the Brand Strategy Lead at Objective Brand, a brand strategy and design studio in Denver, Colorado. Ms. Kerr led the brand department and served as the primary client partner. She guided workshops, research, and directed cross functional teams on messaging, identity, and nationwide campaigns. Ms. Kerr also drove organizational growth through proposals, six and seven-figure contracts and account expansion.​

Prior to her work at Objective Brand, Ms. Kerr was the Head of Brand at Photobooth Supply Co., headquartered in Irvine, California. In this role, she directed a full brand overhaul, including identity, packaging, Shopify relaunch, and a 100 plus page Brand Standards that drove a 118% increase in e-commerce conversion. She was responsible for managing the design team and led the alignment of brand and sales strategy. Ms. Kerr also led event cycles, activations, and large-scale trade shows, partnering with marketing on lead-gen campaigns that grew revenue and expanded market presence.​

Earlier in her career, Ms. Kerr was the Founder and Marketing Director of Telltale, a branding studio in Denver, Colorado. Ms. Kerr scaled this boutique studio to nearly $500,000 in revenue, serving hundreds of clients and increased client profitability by 22% – 57%. While there, she served as a Fractional Creative Director at The Mae, a luxury hair salon and spa in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she spearheaded a full rebrand spanning identity, website, and campaigns, driving a 57% revenue growth and recognition as a Top 200 Salon and Salon of the Year. Simultaneously, she served as Fractional Creative Director at Miller House, an interior design company, where she built the brand of from the ground up, developing foundational strategy, identity, and a custom Shopify site. She directed seasonal launches, product setup, and campaigns to establish a strong market presence.  ​

Ms. Kerr has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications, Public Relations from Samford University. ​
