Monika Ostroff brings over 20 years of healthcare experience to OPEN MINDS as an Advisory Board Member.
In addition to her work with OPEN MINDS, Ms. Ostroff is the Executive Director of The Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association, INC (MEDA). In this role, Ms. Ostroff is responsible for the overall strategic and operational responsibility for MEDA’s staff, programs, growth, and execution of its mission of the prevention and compassionate treatment of eating disorders so that all people have access to recovery and support. Additionally, Ms. Ostroff is also a Per Diem Behavioral Health Manager at Parkland Medical Center, where she is responsible for providing supervision for social workers seeking licensure and consulting with Behavioral Health Leadership. Ms. Ostroff is also the Program Manager of the Reflections Eating Disorders Treatment Center at Parkland Medical Center. In this role, Ms. Ostroff is responsible for providing leadership and clinical supervision to the state-of-the-art eating disorder treatment center.
Ms. Ostroff is the former Director of Cambridge Eating Disorders Center of New Hampshire, where she was responsible for providing leadership to the first satellite location of the regional eating disorder treatment center. Ms. Ostroff was also responsible for providing leadership and clinical supervision for all staff and interns of the center.
Before joining the Cambridge Eating Disorders Center of New Hampshire, Ms. Ostroff was the Clinical Director of R.O.A.D. To A Better Life, an outpatient addiction treatment facility with 5 locations throughout New Hampshire. In this role, Ms. Ostroff was responsible for the development and implementation of an intensive outpatient program for addictions.
Ms. Ostroff graduated from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work in 2000 with a Clinical Concentration, during her time there Ms. Ostroff was the Leopold Schepp Foundation Scholar and received a Graduate Assistant Scholarship. Ms. Ostroff graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College and was a Wellesley College Scholar.
