Rudolph “Rudy” Moni, brings over 20 years of technology experience and 2 years of peer support experience to the OPEN MINDS team. His areas of expertise include peer support programs and outreach services, client satisfaction analysis, technology systems, hardware and software configuration, and multi-media project development.

Mr. Moni currently serves as a Peer Support Associate for both Trinitas Regional Medical Center and Jersey Shore University Medical Center. In this role, he is responsible for facilitating support groups and outreach services, developing and monitoring clinical progress notes, and collecting and analyzing patient satisfaction and wellness survey data. He also supports the adult psychiatric inpatient facility, adult partial hospitalization services team, and provides consultation to the information technology department at the hospitals.

Prior to his work as a peer support associate, Mr. Moni served as the Chief Technology Officer for Middelbrooks Shapiro, P.C., a bankruptcy and litigation law firm in Springfield, New Jersey. In this role, he lead all technology and network management for the firm including computerization, hardware, operating system configuration, and application implementation. In addition, he was responsible for designing, building, and installing servers, developing technology policies and procedures, and providing troubleshooting support.

Previously, Mr. Moni was a Senior System Support Engineer for Sun Microsystems, Inc. where he served as the on-site lead engineer for Bloomberg Financial News including management of major data centers in New York City’s Downtown Financial District, Mid-Town Manhattan, and in Princeton, NJ. In this role, he installed, upgraded, and repaired servers and disk arrays, operating systems, and extensive account management services.

Before joining Sun Microsystems, Mr. Moni was a Senior System Support Engineer for Compaq Computers. In this role, he provided support in the field completing hardware and software installations and then moved to provide operating system migration services, hardware upgrades, and system integrations.

In addition to his professional career, Mr. Moni owns his own multimedia production company, Moni Multimedia, where he produces and edits video programs, websites, and audio content.

Mr. Moni received his Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts from New Jersey City University. He has also received certificates in Broadcast Maintenance and Engineering, Solaris 9 Systems Administration, and Consumer Connections Peer Support.
