Sharon Hohler, RN, BSN, CNOR brings over 30 years of experience in the health and human services field to the OPEN MINDS team. Ms. Hohler currently serves as a Senior Associate. Her areas of expertise are in perioperative nursing, medical and contract writing, and nursing leadership training.

Before joining OPEN MINDS, Ms. Hohler served as PRN CN IV Staff Nurse with St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. In this role, Ms. Hohler managed a team of rapid response nurses and helped provide unparalleled patient care.

Previously, Ms. Hohler served as Team Coordinator, Surgery with St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. In this role, Ms. Hohler was tasked with overseeing the surgical unit and maintaining excellent patient care. In conjunction, she supervised surgical staff and unit-level improvements.

In 2002, Ms. Hohler began writing. She has 17 articles that we multi-published in peer review journals. Ms. Hohler has written two books in addition to these works. Hohler, SE. Ms. Hohler received her Bachelor of Science, Nursing, from Graceland University I Lamoni, Iowa. She also has her Associate of Arts in Nursing from Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, MO. Ms. Hohler held her Registered Nurse Licensure from the State of Missouri for over 30 years.
