Traci Hacker brings 30 years of professional experience to the OPEN MINDS Research and Publications team. At OPEN MINDS, Ms. Hacker serves as the Weekly News Wire Coordinator and reports on the business of delivering social and behavioral health services across the United States and abroad. Ms. Hacker also serves as the initial point-of-contact for industry professionals and organizations that are the focus of these reports. Prior to joining the OPEN MINDS team, Ms. Hacker spent a number of years with Acorn Internet Services as a Web Content Writer. In this role, she was responsible for technical editing on client websites, updating background content, and writing blog posts for clients across the United States. Ms. Hacker spent over seven years as a Partner and Assistant with Peabody Sports LLC, a firearms company, in Centerville Ohio. At Peabody, Ms. Hacker managed local trade shows and store sales in the capacity of public interaction, firearm and accessory sales, processing FBI National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) checks on potential firearm buyers, and handling transactions. In addition, she was responsible for developing and managing marketing materials and web functionality for the business. She previously spent over ten years as a data analyst & data modeler with companies such as, Navistar, Inc., Abacus Technology Corporation, and Computer Science Corporation (CSC).
