Transitions Mental Health Association To Open A New Space For Homeless People Living With Mental Health Issues In San Luis Obispo
During 2023, Transitions Mental Health Association (TMHA) plans to open Palm Street Studios, a new eight-bed residence in San Luis Obispo, California for homeless people with mental health problems. Remodeling is slated to begin in in January 2023. The apartments will be offered to TMHA participants under TMHA’s Housing NOW program.
The residence will open with an office room and six studio apartments in the existing structure. In August 2023, two accessory dwelling units (ADUs) will be installed on the property. All eight units will be accessible via their own entrances, with laundry facilities on-site.
