Advocate’s Diane Gould, Danielle Dunn, & Brenda Miele Soares Featured In August 11 OPEN MINDS Circle Elite Executive Roundtable
Gettysburg, Pa. (August 4, 2022) — Advocate’s Diane Gould President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Danielle Dunn, LMHC, Vice President of Integrated Clinical Services and Brenda Miele Soares, MSW, LICSW, Senior Vice President, Behavioral Health Services, will present Improving Quality And Strengthening The Bottom Line — The Advocates Case Study at the August 11 OPEN MINDS Circle Elite Virtual Executive Roundtable. The speakers will present the strategies Advocates applied to increase revenue, quality of care, and return on investment at their mental health and substance use clinics.
“The pandemic has led to an industry-wide lean period as funding begins to end and consumer usage remains down” noted Monica E. Oss, chief executive officer of OPEN MINDS. “This is why it is more important than ever for clinics to eliminate wastage, focus on efficiency and long-term planning, and align their operational plans to effect positive change.”
This discussion will explore concepts and strategies provider organizations can implement as “turnaround” strategies involving clinical operations, infrastructure, and revenue management. The speakers will share the strategies and results, as well as best practices for outside organizations looking to replicate the model.
Advocates is a non-profit human services agency with a broad range of services throughout Central and Eastern Massachusetts, including four outpatient mental health and substance use clinics serving 8,000 children, adults, and families each year. Executive Attendees will learn about aligning operations and finance to effect positive change, planning for long-term growth to ensure program fidelity, and evaluating data to refine service offerings.
