Direct Care Workforce Demand Projected To Grow 26% By 2030
Demand for direct care workers is projected to increase by about 26% between 2021 and 2030, from 4.7 million positions in 2021 to 5.9 million in 2030. The direct care workforce includes front-line workers delivering home- and community-based services (HCBS) and front-line workers at residential care facilities.
